Vacuum tube amplifiers are by no means mere nostalgic relics. Transformer-Coupled EL34 Drive Stage, Engineered for very detailed Linearity
The audio signal is driven from an EL34 connected in triode mode, passing through an interstage transformer to the output stage. Notably, while conventional driver stages function merely as voltage amplification, the MA-3000—mirroring the flagship MA-5000— utilizes the driver stage itself as a power amplification circuit. This unique configuration dramatically reduces impedance and maximizes signal linearity.
Enhanced High-Speed Performance and a Wider Sound Stage with a Newly Designed Toroidal Power Transformer
The redesign of the MA-3000 introduced a completely renewed power transformer. The newly developed, high-regulation toroidal power transformer drastically lowers power circuit impedance. This critical advancement delivers enhanced high-speed performance and projects a remarkably wide, immersive sound stage.
